AKC TRICK DOG ADVANCED

(TKA)

 
A total of 10 tricks are requires to earn the advanced trick dog title. Must have the Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles; CGC is not required. There can be no more than 2 Handler’s Choice tricks (optional). Tricks must be Advanced and not previously submitted for other titles.
  1. Back up- Walk backwards.
  2. Balance treat on nose, flip to eat when released.
  3. Barrel- Roll a barrel with 2 paws or stand on with 4.
  4. Basketball.
  5. Bow- As in take a bow.
  6. Circle right, circle left.
  7. Cover your eyes- Paw over eyes.
  8. Cover up with a blanket.
  9. Dance/moonwalk
  10. Embarrassed.
  11. Go hide- Get under a table, ect.
  12. Head down.
  13. Hide your head- Under a blanket or pillow, ect.
  14. Identify toy by name out of 3.
  15. Jump into handler's arms.
  16. Jump over handler's back.
  17. Lassie pose- Sit pretty with paws bent.
  18. Walking leg weave.
  19. Turn on a light
  20. Make your bed.
  21. Open door- Mailbox, toy refrigerator.
  22. Get it- Get a named object.
  23. Pay for it- Fetch and bring money
  24. Pick Pocket- As handler moves
  25. Pivot-Paws on disk
  26. Retreat- Crawl backwards 3 boyd lengths.
  27. Say your prayers
  28. Scent article out of 5.
  29. Play dead.
  30. Pull a bag with objects.
  31. Remove handler's slipper or show. 
  32. Retrieve- Flat item from flat surface (credit card from floor)
  33. Reverse circles around handler.
  34. Shake- As in to shake off water.
  35. Sing- Howl
  36. Sit at a distance of 15 feet.
  37. Lassie pose.
  38. Smile.
  39. Smoosh-press face on plexiglass.
  40. Sneeze.
  41. Bring me a tissue-Dog retrieves a kleenex from box.
  42. Tidy up- Dog picks up toys and puts them in toy box.
  43. Under handler- Handler on hands and knees.
  44. Walk on hind legs- Paws may be on handler's arm.
  45. Weave poles- No lures.
  46. Handler's choice 1.
  47. Handler's choice 2.
